Janis Allen established Performance Leadership Consulting following a successful 18-year career during which she focused on people-related performance in a variety of capacities. She has held the positions of Personnel
Associate for J.P. Stevens; Plant Personnel Manager, Corporate Management Trainer and Internal Consultant for Milliken & Company; Editor-in-Chief of Performance Management magazine; and Vice President of Operations
and Performance Consultant for Aubrey Daniels and Associates.As owner of Performance Leadership Consulting, Janis Allen helps organizations implement positive recognition programs and put-in-place
performance teams, concurrent with installing measurement and feedback systems to support these efforts. She uses a wide range of positive recognition
techniques, together with applied behavior analysis, in teaching and coaching executives, managers, supervisors and associates to improve performance and transform their cultures to be more people-oriented.

Michael McCarthy has
over 25 years of consulting experience with large, medium and small-size companies. He has been a Manager with Accenture
Consulting, assisting clients with change management, performance measurement and process change. Previously, Michael McCarthy was a
senior consultant with the firms of Aubrey Daniels & Associates and Tarkenton & Company. He served as editor of Performance Management magazine for three years, where he researched and wrote about
transformational leadership, quality, and performance improvement concepts and applications. As part of his broad background, he once worked in a
"wilderness therapeutic camping" program for youth in Florida, and sailed around Europe for a year -- aboard the 157-foot sailing schooner, Te' Vega --
teaching for a private school in a program emphasizing principle-based character development. Michael McCarthy
helps organizations improve performance and teamwork through a positive management approach. His clients not only get results, they create a more positive atmosphere at work.
Michael McCarthy holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. Together with Janis Allen, he co-authored the book, "You Made My Day: Creating Co-Worker Recognition and Relationships."
